2.       If your flight is a codeshare one, and there is a change of the airline in between the routes, then always check whether the operating partner carrier does have the same allowance as the one on which you have booked the tickets.

3.       You shall also check whether there is any other deal, coupon or promo code which can be used along with the special student offers to further reduce the fares. You can check for these deals on the various websites which are focused on providing deals.

4.       It is also important to know the time period for which the airline is offering this discount. Generally, the students might need to carry more of their baggage after the first flight. So, if the airline provides it for a longer time frame, you can travel same airline to avail additional allowances.
